Welcome to the Wiki Encyclopedia for the Interactive Map of Gibraltar
Whilst some preliminary work has been done to populate the site with text and information it is you, the user of the site, that can contribute by adding your own text and information. Please see the HELP and EDITING rules for more information on how to do this. There is also a page on how to SEARCH which will make sure you find what you are looking for.
How to add your own content
The editing rules have had to be changed slightly as there were a number of pages being created by bots and junk/spammers wanting to sell you anything they could think of. So, you first need to create an account by signing in (above) before you can edit. Sorry but this is a ncessary evil to stop the spammers. Just note that I do not use this information for anything, so you will not receive junk e-mail, etc from me.
Next thing is to find out if a page already exists. Do this by searching for it. If it exists, edit the page. If it does not, create a page by following the link provided in the search page. Remember to try all permutations of a name particularly if it has an ' in the name.

Adding Images
The server space is limited so if you are considering uploading images can you please restrict the longest size to 300pixels in JPG format with a good amount of compression, thanks!
To do this use the Upload form link on the left. Only formats accepted for now are ".jpg" and ".gif". Please try to keep the image size to below 50kb each.
Commercial Use
The whole concept of the dotcom.gi websites and the Interactive Map of Gibraltar is that is not based on commercial or profitable enterprise. Any users posting commercial/advertising or other unsuitable material will be blocked and their content removed.
